It’s raining. It’s been raining relatively steadily for most of the last month. Of course it needs it, parts of the UK being in drought. Still there’s the occasional bit of sunshine and we’ve made good use of that with some nice walking.

You may have noticed it, you may not, but I’ve tweaked the website’s design a bit.
Last Saturday we went into Liverpool because we had been invited to the European Opera Centre‘s production of “I quatro rusteghi” accompanied by the Liverpool Philharmonic.
It’s been lovely and sunny and warm here the last few days. In fact I’ve cycled home in my short-sleeved shirt (and trousers and shoes of course) yesterday and today.
I had to go to the bank (The Co-operative Bank) today and upon entering found that they were collecting for Sport Relief and were all wearing some kind of sport clothing. Very commendable, except that one person was wearing a training jacket that on the back had in huge letters “Bank of Ireland”. Shurely a mishtake?
